Our Blue Boat on the Sea Casket Spray offers a unique and meaningful tribute for a sailor, fisherman or anyone who loved the sea. This distinctive funeral flower arrangement creates a beautiful scene of a sailing boat surrounded by a sea of blue flowers and foliage.

The design sits on top of the coffin and measures approximately 4ft in length. An average coffin measures around 6ft, so the arrangement provides a beautiful focal point while leaving space around the casket.

Our florists create the sea using a selection of blue and complementary flowers. The design may include delphinium, thistles, roses, lisianthus and gypsophila. Green foliage adds texture and helps create the illusion of a boat sailing across the water.

Flower availability changes throughout the year so the finished design may differ slightly from the photograph shown. We will maintain the overall blue sea theme, boat design and style of the tribute with the substitute flowers.

This casket spray is available for local delivery to a licensed undertakers. We cannot offer nationwide delivery for this product.

Do you offer regular flower subscriptions?
Yes. We offer weekly, bi-weekly and monthly subscriptions. You choose the frequency, price and duration. They are available for homes, offices or as gifts.
What is your cancellation or refund policy?
Due to the perishable nature of fresh flowers, issues are handled on a case-by-case basis. Perishable goods guarantee is for 5-7 days. If you experience quality issues, contact the shop directly ASAP.
How do I look after my bouquet?
If boxed in water: Unwrap the aqua-pack over a sink to release the water. Cut the stems at a 45-degree angle, place them in a clean vase with fresh water and half of the flower food sachet. Every couple of days repeat the same process to ensure longevity. If hand tied: Remove the packaging. How long will my fresh-cut flowers last?
Fresh-cut arrangements typically last between 5 to 7 days, but could last longer, depending on the flower variety, room temperature and location they are kept in.  Follow the care instructions closely to ensure longevity.
What happens if the recipient is not home?
If you choose for your bouquet to be packaged and boxed in water it will be left in a safe sheltered spot, left with a neighbour or brought back to the shop if there is not a safe place to leave it with a re-delivery notice left behind. Hand tied bouquets, not boxed in water, will usually only be left with a neighbour who can put it into a vase of water. The flowers will not be left in direct sun or on a hot day.
What payment methods do you accept?
Standard options usually include major debit/credit cards, Apple Pay, PayPal, bank transfers or cash for in-store collections. We do not accept American Express in store.
Do you create bespoke bouquets?
Yes. We can create bespoke bouquets in your colour scheme or with specific flowers if they are in season. For specific requests please contact us directly on 01438 716569 or email theshop@welwynflorist.co.uk.
Can I order for same day delivery?
Yes. Same day delivery is available on all of our bouquets when ordered by 1pm that day. The bouquet may vary from the product image due to flower availability but the colour scheme will remain the same. Nationwide delivery is unavailable for same day delivery. Only local delivery.
